The star midfielder Operated in an advanced position on the right and did plenty of the hard yards. Showed flashes of quality and mishit a shot wide. Replaced in the closing stages by a teammate, a fellow player, following a yellow card. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Had the team's top opening of the first half, his strike well saved by the opposing goalkeeper. With Quansah hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side yet his deliveries into the box varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. 6/10

Harry Kane The difference-maker with his 77th and 78th finishes in an England shirt. His first a typical poacher’s finish and his next an excellent finish with his head after peeling away off his defender. At 32, his form is unwavering and the side are strong contenders next summer with him leading the line. Eight

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to get into the game from the left. Was presented with a presentable chance when set up from a teammate however Strakosha made the save. His replacement produced a bigger effect when substituted. Five
