The City of Angels witnessed widespread celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters across the globe joined local residents in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage show countless of Angelenos flooding city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy high.
